NOTICE TO BIDDERS: County Improvement Projects

Sealed bids will be received by the Ashland County Commissioners until 9:15 A.M. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at their office, 110 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 for the necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the 2023 Ashland County Sealing Program.



The Board of Ashland County Commissioners is applying for a Community Development Block Grant from the Ohio Development Services Agency to fund its PY 2023 Allocation Program. The County is interested in acquiring the services of a consultant to provide the necessary services to conduct an Analysis of Impediments for Fair Housing in Ashland County.



Ashland County intends to apply to the Ohio Department of Development for funding under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Small Cities Program, a federally funded program administered by the State of Ohio. The County is eligible to receive program year 2023 CDBG formula funding for an anticipated amount of approximately $150,000.00, providing the County meets the applicable program requirements. The County can also apply for up to $500,000 in Neighborhood Revitalization funding, up to $500,000 in Downtown Revitalization Funding, and up to $500,000 in Residential Public Infrastructure Funding. Projects awarded funding will be undertaken no sooner than September 2023.
