NOTICE TO BIDDERS
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Sealed bids will be received by the Ashland County Commissioners, 110 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 up until 9:15 A.M. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, for the purchase of granular materials for the 2026 construction season for the Ashland County Highway Department.

Specifications can be obtained at the office of the Ashland County Engineer, 1511 Cleveland Avenue, Ashland, Ohio 44805.

A bid bond or certified check, cashier's check, or money order on a solvent bank or savings and loan association, payable to the Ashland County Treasurer, in the amount of 5% of the bid, shall accompany each bid. Upon award of the contract, a performance bond, a certificate of deposit or a bank check will be required in the amount of 100% of said contract. Please list name, address, and phone number of local bonding agent along with home office.

Ashland County may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against Ashland County.
