This is an alert to inform our clients about a potential disruption to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for November.
Due to the current federal government shutdown, funding for SNAP benefits have not been secured beyond October. If the federal shutdown continues into November, there will be insufficient funds to pay out SNAP benefits.
The Ashland County Department of Job & Family Services is closely monitoring the situation. We will post updates immediately once funding is secured or further direction is received.
Please check the Department of Job & Family Services website regularly for the most current and official status of your November SNAP benefits.
